Well British history is very long lol.
Our most interesting archaeological discovery was the ship burial at Sutton Hoo in my opinion. During the early 7th century, in southern England, a king (presumed to be Rædwald King of the kingdom of East Anglia) was buried with his 80 feet (approx 24 metres)long ship. The actual ship itself hasn't survived but it left a huge imprint on the ground - as can be seen in the spoiler section. They found fragments of a helmet too (again image below).
