The OCD part of me has to have things clean and organized before starting a project. Not having everything I need at hand is frustrating and just wastes time. I know it'll all get messy as I work, but not starting from a known/clean state just makes it worse.

Cleaning is satifying because you can see (and live) the results.

I agree about needing a clean space before I can start something. If not, I get riled up and start to feel anxious. x-x

I, again, love a clean apartment. Having a kitten now has been triggering the germaphobe in me, so I've been cleaning obsessively.
