I'm trying two shows called Turn: Washington's spies and Medici: Master of Florence.

Turn is set in 1778 back in the Revolutionary war.

Medici is set back in the 15th century.

Turn is awesome! The first season started a little slow, but it takes off after that. I'm a bit of a history buff too, so great stories and history... wow! :)

I got a little bored when I tried to watch Turn, the first episode. I was a little distracted anyways. Reign was hard to follow at first then I caught on.

second season of Turn was much better I thought - not so sure about this season yet - but its not like one of those shows you can jump in at any time and figure out what is happening or just enjoy that episode... you have to stay on top of it to figure out who is who. In fact, I am thinking I may have to watch the first episodes of Season one again to figure some of the stuff out.

I still really like Poldark though - maybe because I love the Desmelda (Sp?) character and I keep up hope for her that everything will turn out ok in the end. She has such tough breaks and Loves Ross so much and stands up to him and stands by him and keeps their family together.

I wonder if they will be doing any more series of Marco Polo? Not sure if I really like the direction that one or Vikings is going. Again, got to love the strength and determination of the female leads though.

Jamestown is basically about the women of Jamestown and I still can't figure out how they manage to stay looking so clean. I'd like to see more involvement of the lesser women characters - the town is small but you don't seem to see the other women that came off the boat much. You would think they would be sticking together more. Anyway, votes still out on that one. I am finding I like the tavern girl most and want to see her happy.

Reign was the same way on needing to keep up with it to understand the politics throughout. The second time around I was able to understand what was going on and how things could go down.

I need to branch out to more TV shows because I always keep re-watching the same things over and over again.

I am rewatching another, The Vampire Diaries. I'm watching a bit of The Office as well (US version) which is pretty good.

Since I know the history of what will happen before hand, I just like to see it happen. Yet, I do not want to cry. Right now I am at the point where I am angry. UGH. I need to spill another rant lol.

Is Mary Queen of Scots still married to Frances in the series or did he die yet? And what happened to his half brother?
