your favorite things

having been in the city recently I was amazed that the people who live in those tall buildings really have no idea what a yard is.To them the yard is the park that they share with everyone around them. But I did notice some roof top and balcony gardens in a few areas.

Pesto is sauce made with basil sauce, and I just really like mint tea. xD Growing the plants inside is hard because I don't have space and we use the balcony for drying clothes. orz

Believe me, I didn't even know houses were a thing until I watched American movies. c': Balconies are really small here too so... can't rely much on that. I do much of my gardening at school because some teachers like having plants in their classrooms. It's a nice getaway. ^^

some schools around us have community gardens - raised gardens in planters mostly - maybe you can initiate something like that for a school project or community service and get to grow your own/

I guess something else we take for granted here is that every apartment block has washer and dryers (generally on the bottom floor) for their renters and most condos and houses here have their own set. People only hang dry if they want the crisp feel to their items. I think dryers eliminate the possibility of allergens getting on the clothes while they are drying, never mind speed at drying.

I don't know about where you are but over here you can go get grow lights for inside gardening.

But do you know what needs to be done? People need to make their own versions of the song with what they're favourite things are.

Oh, wait! That could be a game thread! One person says a line for the song, or a lyric, but with their favourite things, then the next person does the same, and so on until the song is finished, then it repeats!
