NASA's firefly fails to fly ... engines failed to ignite.

Let's see if it can make it work today ... NASA is not as proficient with their rockets as Spacex is.

To follow he firefly launches: https://fireflyspace.com/missions/noise-of-summer/

Maybe someone will have clear skies to watch the meteor showers this week.

Or see satellite debris burning up as they lose orbit.

of course the moon will not actually be the color blue... it just refers to the frequency in which the full moons occur... where the expression "once in a blue moon" comes from.

Sept. 15 at 2:30 p.m. ET

"In a few weeks, skygazers will be able to see asteroid “2024 ON” as it swings by Earth at an astronomically close, but still safe distance, according to the Virtual Telescope Project.

Measuring at least 720 feet wide, or about the length of two football fields, the asteroid will be visible from the Northern Hemisphere."

Listen, if movies have taught me anything, it's that when scientists say an asteroid or comet is going to be really close but still safe, that's when it turns out the comet/asteroid is going to hit the Earth and cause devastation

I think I am more worried about the accumulation of space junk falling through the earth's atmosphere... they have accumulated alot up there.

I saw a Korean movie named SPACE SWEEPERS. Their job was to collect space junk. Something like that will be necessary one day... where ever humanity goes we pollute...
