Cleaning away your anger/bad feelings - ain't nothing like scrubbing away the anger as you aggressively scrub attack your dirty kitchen stove (though the anger is in part due to people not cleaning up after themselves)

A shower can be very relaxing (unless it's too cold, but I guess that sometimes is refreshing if its hot out).

for me both sides...depending on which side I am washing! But I suppose I start with my back...why? Is there a hidden meaning?

Nah, but some people prefer to wash with their back facing it, while others prefer to wash with their front facing it.
