Hunter's super full moon tonight, so bright outside ... I can see down the driveway!

I checked the sky with my binoculars & got to see the comet! I wish it was bright enough to see without the binoculars though.

This weekend I will try to see if I can get a picture of the comet with my zoom camera,,, will have to take a picture in the dark so to speak ... but hopefully binoculars & a tripod will help narrow the location down.

I dunno about any comet, but while walking home the sky was really clear and I could see more stars than usual!

Time to put it on a Christmas wish list ... although I am surprised your parents don't have a pair you can use.

Halloween comet:
"Comet C/2024 S1 is believed to be fragments of “the Great Comet of 1106,” which broke up when passing the sun 918 years ago. Meanwhile, 1106 is potentially made of another outer space object, Aristotle’s Comet of 371 BC. “This comet was so bright it cast shadows at night like the full moon,”

Oct 24- " “look low in the eastern sky just before sunrise.”

“Then, after swinging around the sun, the comet may reappear in the western night sky right around Halloween."

I can't see the other comet anymore, unless I am looking in the wrong place??

I hope to find the Halloween comet.
