The Steven Universe fandom on tumblr is so toxic. :/ Made me stay far away from the show.
Honestly.... WHAT'S THE MATTER IF SOMEONE DREW CONNIE'S NOSE A LITTLE TOO SMALL, YOU DON'T NEED TO HARASS THEM UNTIL THEY END UP IN THE HOSPITAL

oh gosh.. yeah some of the fandom is a bit uhm.. obsessive. O_O
I try to stay away from tumblr. Usually, I'll watch the new episode with my husband, then read on reddit what other people noticed/liked about the episode.
My husband really didn't care about the show at first, but now I'm not allowed to watch it without him. I knew I'd get him over to the dark side. He loves Garnet too.

Peridot IS adorable, but I think it's a sign that rebecca sugar is spying on my house cuz she stole my kitten's peronality for Peridot.

Also: SU is one of the first mainstream cartoons with a cannon lesbian relationship. All the gems identify as female and Ruby and Sapphire's relationship is a romantic one
