Does anyone watch Miraculous Ladybug? I've been in the fandom for 3 days and I already read 30% of all the existing fanfictions. /o/





(Yes the show is that good but it's for kids oh dear I am really a kid inside.)

Zombiebunny linked me a trailer for this a while back! Is it actually a thing now? It looked so wonderful. I wasn't sure if it was some disney/pixar short film or webseries or what. I'm guessing you would recommend it?

I've been watching to watch this since I heard of it, kind of sad when it went from "regular" animation to 3D but what can you do >v<

I've not watched any of the episodes yet, I'm waiting until the show premieres in the US but I just know I'm going to love it.

Although if I keep hearing about it/seeing all the gorgeous fan art I'll probably break down and watch some of the subbed episodes.

Yup it's an actual show now! It's now in 3D like cartoon animation though. Totally recommend it even though it's directed for kids. I feel as if watching the show itself isn't the greatest, but the fanfics makes it worth the watch. xD

Well it's the directors choice to be honest. I don't really mind apart from the really weird villains sometimes.

I prefer the subbed episodes because in the English dub, Adrien sounds like a child but maybe that's my imagination. Also the subbed episodes have more content out right now so I completely gave in. But now that it's out, what do you think of it so far?

I heard rumors of a 2D OVA in the works for Miraculous Ladybug a while back, so that'd pretty cool especially for everyone who was hoping for 2D animation instead of the 3D. Regardless of that, I love the show and its entirety ah

Same! I'm really interested on how they're going to take it up since almost everyone has been akumatised, i'm guessing either Chat or Ladybug gets akumatised next. o-o A 2D animation would be nice, especially in the style the first trailer came out in.

Never heard of it. Searched for it and after watching a trailer decided to watch the first episode. It's ok but I don't think I'm going to follow it. ^^;

I've heard of Miraculous Ladybug waaaay back. Some authors I used to follow started writing fanfiction for this series so I Googled it and saw that it was a cartoon for kids.
I didn't really have much time then nor did I feel like watching something new so I never touched the series until recently.

AND IT'S REALLY SURPRISINGLY GOOD?
I mean, it has a lot of flaws of course and personally, I'm not too fond of the whole episodic thing. But I think the main charas are pretty cute together and it's actually nice having a nice boy as the main guy for a change. Also, it's really cool that Ladybug/Marinette is the one directing their akuma ops. I find that it's rare to see a superhero thing where the girl is the leader so it's a breath of fresh air for me.

Anyway, I'm waiting for season 2. Hopefully, they make it a bit less episodic this time and have a better flow? Season was was pretty all over the place when it came to the timeline. ;;

Ummm does anyone here have fanfiction to recommend, btw? Pretty much looking for lengthy plot-heavy ones. orz
