I just heard about it! I'm setting a reminder for tomorrow. (on the off chance I can get to the backyard to spot it)

I looked out tonight and it looks like one star with the naked eye but looking with a good pair of binnoculars or camera you can see it is two and I was lucky enough to see Jupiter's moons as well!

I am going to try and take pictures tomorrow as well with the camera on the tripod. It sets pretty early so for me around 6 pm was good, for you it might be earlier?

Tonight I set the camera on manual and was able to see a ring around Saturn Unfortunately can't focus too good with the camera to get a clear picture.

It should still be around for a few days as they start to draw apart.

Oh dear, two meteors will fall from the sky, and the government will try to stop them with missiles.

Between midnight and 6am in Europe. I won't be able to see it anyways.

There will be more meteor showers which we will be able to view. I tend to find I rarely see them anyway.

Was it cool? Were they showering down or was it scary like a scifi movie???

They were big. First meteor hit and caused a big crater. I was visiting family friends with my family (although they weren't real people), and we decided to go see the second meteor for some reason, as it had not landed yet. I did not think it a good idea, but I didn't do anything about it. On the ride I saw a few large missiles being launched towards it by the government presumably. There was a beach that was the border, no one was allowed past the beach for fear of being caught in the blast. We stopped just before a blue tube that led to the beach. I was then woken up before anything happened.

Sounds like a scifi movie although if the meteors were that big there probably would have been earthquakes or tsunami's.

I think that missle's are a possible solution if meteors get too close, try to break them smaller.. Thankfully the atmosphere protects us from small meteors but that is not foolproof.
