I look up most things I see on Facebook because there’s a lot of misinformation people believe in. I see it in there then I do research to see more info about it because I have seen quite a few lying posts that I can’t believe people post.

SpaceX engine floating chaotically since Feb 2015 is estimated to crash into the moon in March 2022.

No idea, but it will mean we are making the moon a dump site in my opinion ... although in the future I guess there would be scrap metal to use if someone got stranded on the moon!

I believe it is suppose to crash on the dark side so it is unlikely we will see it from Earth.

I think there's more to it. My understanding is the rocket malfunctioned and is hitting the moon after floating around for years. No one directed it there. Don't get me wrong, pollution is bad anywhere (except perhaps the sun!), but better on the moon than floating space junk that big.

Meteor shower tonight! 1 am ET or 10 pm PT


"NASA said if all goes well, the best time to view the meteor shower will be around 1 a.m. ET Tuesday or 10 p.m. PT Monday.

“This is going to be an all-or-nothing event,” Bill Cooke said, who leads NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office. “If the debris from SW3 was traveling more than 220 miles per hour when it separated from the comet, we might see a nice meteor shower. If the debris had slower ejection speeds, then nothing will make it to Earth and there will be no meteors from this comet."
