I'd seen this article a while back, but now that I'm back on a desktop machine I'm finally getting around to post this.

I had no idea the art originals were cropped for the cards. I think the artwork in their full glory is awesome!

What do you guys think?

I've seen this before, but they aren't cropped for the cards, they're Pokemon cards that the text has been painted over and the artist has done the background on the Pokemon cards!

I agree with Nerdy on this: Although I've seen this myself on both Facebook and possibly Tumblr - and rightfully so! It's absolutely amazing what they did with what little was provided. Don't get me wrong: I collect the Pokemon cards nowadays just because the art is neat *insert the Marge from The Simpsons "I think its just neat" meme here*.

I've seen many people do this

I'm torn

It looks awesome and they're clearly talented

But I also think of the fact they are painting over something some people might collect

The cards are like zooming in with a camera.
