Little thread to share and talk about those things that are extremely uncommon, rare, or unique!

Can be anything - music, films, literature, games, images, personal experience, or even just a brand new sentence you've overheard recently.

Embalming by CaronzBekaluz

Striking collage-like visuals in the MV combined with chanting vocals against a rock melody that does not go over the top with "epicness".
The track is also completely different from the rest of the band's discography. I have literally no idea where to find more music that sounds like this - I just stumbled into the song on YT.

One of the most unique games I've played this year is the Return of the Obra Dinn. Its a murder mystery set in the 18th century on a mysterious ship called the obra dinn. I can't say much without spoiling the magic but it looks sounds and plays amazingly and with a simple but deep core mechanic, its easily one of my favorite games I've played this year.

Looking at the screenshots - loving the art style! Wiki says it was made by the same devs as Papers, Please, so I have good expectations. Gonna add this to the ever-expanding List

I love obra dinn! I'm always on the hunt for similar puzzle games. If you liked that style, check out Chants of Sunnar (my favourite so far), or Curse of the Golden Idol. Some people also recommend Outer Wilds, but I found the controls distracting and frustrating.

"The Peasants" is a painted 2d animated film. It's visually interesting, but the story isn't particularly unique. I also just learned that the people who made it have another painted animated film called "Loving Vincent."
