I know this is a late reply but how is he doing now? How is his smoking habits the past 2 months?

I had a coworker who smokes and had some problems breathing and one time I thought he was about to have a heart attack. I felt really worried. He eventually left his job because of health problems.

That's sad to hear. My friend lost her father recently and he was a smoker and had issues because of it. He had to be admitted to the hospital and had a heart attack and then from complications passed away.

Smoking really bothers me. It's a bad habit that doesn't need to be picked up in the first place.
