Welcome to Windlyn then! We have a great community. How'd you find us ? Most members have come word of mouth or a link from an Avatar site it seems. Glad you managed to come across us!
I love the doughnut game! And its a great way to pick up some extra feathers. Please feel free to do my or Monkeygirls dice roll game threads for a chance to earn extra feathers besides your post. I don't know if I have an absolute favorite thing with this site because I love all the options I have for dressing up my avatar and I am enjoying watching the site grow and have more options added all the time but I have to say I am partial to the pengwings and I love anytime they are in an event.
We have a lot of crafters and bakers and anime lovers on here among other things so hopefully you will find a niche. Feel free to share your hobby/interests. Don't hesitate to join in a thread, everyone is welcoming.
Check out Akuyi's thread for newbie's and the yard sale for past items too.

I'd say my favorite thing about the site is the events that are held, like an Easter or Valentine's Day special where special items are released. Which reminds me, you should def check out the Lazarus Shop and get your hands on the gowns and other accessories before they go.

(Your username sounds familiar. Gaia? xD ) I enjoy the events the most because everyone comes together to celebrate it. The avatars are adorable, and so is the universe of Windlyn. The pengwings are the qtpatootiest ^o^ Also the little things! From the little boat animation that takes you to the homepage, to the link to "My Posts" which has "egosearch" at the end of it which I thought was hilarious and humbling haha!
