Hey Winners!

Novalia has officially come to an end! The year has officially changed, and citizens everywhere are heading home for some much needed rest.

We hope you enjoyed all of the party favors, even if you did not get a chance to participate in the festivities yourself since you were busy helping Aurora and Eventide fish out their star friends and treasures. Like every year, the goddesses must separate after Novalia is over and reign over their domains independently. They appreciate all your help thus far, but there are still many treasures that are lost! It would surely please them very much if you were to keep checking your fishing line at the Star Pond a few times a day. You will definitely be rewarded if you do.

Thank you, everyone, for helping us have a great 2016! We can not wait to see what next year has in store for Windlyn!

A heavy rainstorm has been traveling through Windlyn. In some places, it has been cold enough to snow! After the storm has calmed, you venture out of your home to see a funny looking creature standing out front. He seemed pretty settled, so you let him stay. When the sun came out again, shining brightly and warming the air, you checked for your new friend again and found he had moved on. He did, however, leave behind a small red hat for you, and you can't help but feel it pulling you towards the forest and Creutair Coille, the small pet shop hidden within. Perhaps you will find a new friend waiting for you there?

Snomes are ornamental creatures, which require very little attention and management. These cold fellows make great pets for anyone who leads a busy life and cannot have a demanding pet, or anyone who has little space to keep anything very large. Snomes are dedicated, caring creatures and are more than happy to help their owner keep house. They typically feel a strong attachment to plants, gardens, and yards and like to spend time outside or near windows. As a species, Snomes love pointed hats.

Snomes must find homes before the weather gets warm. If they do not, they will have to go into hibernation until it gets cold again. On the second day of February every year, Snomes everywhere will stand outside in hopes to see their shadows. In the case they do not see their shadows, they know that winter is over, and it is time to go into hiding.

Today is the start of the lunar new year for a large part of the world!
