After our upgrade yesterday, while we're faster, we're not getting the speed we were supposed to. It turns out the new piece of hardware we had installed is bad.
We're working on getting a replacement. It may take a few days... and we'll have to go offline again to do the install. We'll keep you posted!

The techs have informed us that our replacement hardware will be installed between 2-5pm WST on Tuesday 10/27/2020. As a result Windlyn will be offline for a while sometime during those hours. Finger's crossed!
The tech brought out some new hardware to swap in and it turns out it has the same problems (a firmware bug that's never been fixed).
We're looking into abandoning out some of our legacy requirements so we can upgrade to the latest and greatest. These pieces are known to not have the issues we're seeing. Stay tuned!
A tech with new hardware showed up this morning without warning (sorry it all happened with no notice) and after a bunch of troubleshooting when the new hardware wasn't operation as expected the tech found some other flakey devices in our network infrastructure. He started swapping out hardware and had to call in a second tech to bring out replacements for all of that stuff.
The bottom line is we're doubled our bandwidth and speed since this morning so faster than ever now! Thanks to the team for sorting it all out!
