I like to eat taco meat & lettuce, I don't need the tortilla.

Nice, hope you find the costume you are hoping for.

Not sure if I ever asked this before, pix; how long does it take for you to walk home from work/how far is it?

10 to 20 minute walk, 5 minute drive! :D

Last night was great! I woke semi on time, had a great pasta dinner, and did even better than the previous day at work! I was completely on top of things!
At home I played games, chatted on Discord, and watched videos! Crying once again at Epic the Musical!

Yeye!

Last night was good! I woke on time, went to Walmart and got some things (but no candy corn!?), had borgors, did some chores.
Watched Tracker with my mom but it turned out to be an old episode!
Played games, watched videos, built in Minecraft, chatted with my gf over Discord text, played Battlefront with my friend, had fun

Now I work two days!

Indeed!
I shall!

The wait is no fun!
Ikr!? I've been looking forward to it! ><
Indeed!

Last night was mixed. I woke on time, had chicken fingers and fries, went to work. Work was good but I got annoyed and angry a lot, I think because I was feeling stressed and pressured since there's a walk today. I managed to get everything done though!

Now I go to bed. Tonight I am going to the campsite where my parents are rn, and I'm gonna have dinner and smores then coming back home!

Thank you

She was 94 (I think. That's what dad said at least) so she lived a good long life

She was always very active, usually choosing to walk everywhere, until she got something with the brain, dementia or alzheimers or something

I haven't seen her in around 10 years I think, so it's a little sad to know I'll never be able to visit her again

But also at the same time it hasn't fully hit me yet, I'm just kinda... numb I guess

She used to live in Quebec, in this old artist's house (I think it was an artist's, they were famous for something at least), but she moved a couple times after marrying (I think they married, at least) a guy (my dad's father has been dead for quite awhile) and I never got to visit her in any of those places

Kinda reminds me of how I hadn't seen my grandma on my mom's side (well she was my mom's father's gf) in awhile because she was sick, so even when we visited grandpa we never saw her, and then she died a few months ago as well

In both situations it'd been years since I'd seen them, and then they were gone

Thanks for sharing. 94 is a good run!

For me it's about quality vs quantity; part of me thinks if my mind is gone and I can't remember the most important things, then how long do I want to go on like that?

I like to look at the positives when we lose those we love, gratitude and our time is the most precious thing we have.

^-^ it really is
That's true! It's better to be living well even if it's for a shorter time
Yeah! Remember the good things, treasure the moments we had

I'll miss her, but I'm sure she's in a better place now, with her mind restored to it's previous sharpness and clarity

I am sorry for your loss, Npix.

I did not know my grandparents on my Dad's side so you were fortunate to have had so many.
I use to write my Grandmother on my Mom's side or call her, now it would be text, but she has been gone a long time now. Maybe that is something you can do with your Grandfather's you have left? They love that kind of thing.
It is extremely difficult to have a connection though when their mind is going & that is when we hold on to those memories we have built, remembering & cherishing the person they were.
