This is a Pokemon Themed Hangout! We focus mostly on the video games, but I do collect and battle with the TCG and anime and manga lovers are always welcome!

Battle Rules
We go by VGC rules here. Only pokemon with the Blue Pentagon can be used.
That means pokemon must be bred or caught in X Y Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire.
That also means certain legendaries are banned, the mythical ones. Only two restricteds on a team
No Pokemon with the Held Item Soul Dew
Games must have the most recent patch Downloaded.
We can also play on Showdown too, to make things easier.

Legit Pokemon Only
Definition of legit. Pokemon obtained by breeding or capturing IN YOUR GAME or through trade.

Once we have enough people chatting around in the thread we will have the tournament deciding the E4 of the thread.

Rules of the Elite Four:
Members of the Four must have a theme for their pokemon,
Challengers may use any pokemon that isn't banned. But they must have the same team throughout the challenge.
Please follow the rules as posted earlier on the page.
Challengers may take on the elite four in any order, but must defeat all four in order to reach the champion.

Champion Exclusive rules.
Champions may or may not have a themed team. BUT if you decide against an unthemed team it must be the team you defeated the Elite Four with.
If you are defeated there are a few options open to you.
You may simply step down and try to reclaim your title at a later date.
You may join the Elite Four by two ways, either a member steps down voluntarily.
Or you may battle for their position.

Why would a member want to step down? So that they can become champion themselves.

Elite Four Members must be active!

Hello. I am Queen Evil Fluffy, I have been playing Pokemon since Red. I've watched the TV series since season one, but stopped when they entered the Sinnoh Region. I still collect the cards and yes I play the card game. And will do so over some sort of video thing like tinychat or skype or whatever. I have a couple of decks.
I mostly play in the VGC competitive environment am hoping for a Worlds invite, but worst comes to worst at least my kid will get one and I still will go dammit.
I pick pokemon that interest me, that are appealing in appearance, and that can hold their own in battle. owo

Yep! I do not have anything past Black because of a lack of 3DS system.
