Hey I've hopped over from Gaiaonline! If you guys could give me advice on how this site works that'd be cool! Some friends would be nice too

We are a cute little community, just not on at the same time ... but drop a post & someone is sure to respond.
Play games ( 3 scores daily per game count) or post for feather currency.
Right now we have a Valentine event where you purchase a shopping bag in the Lazarus shop & gift it to another member. That bag will contain a secret item ( presently new items & past event items). So if you get flooded with PM's that will be why! Clear your Pm inbox so it doesn't get cluttered.
I'll gift you some feathers to get you started & send some gift bags too.
Come visit the links in my avatar signature (on first post of a page) for a chance at winning past items or feathers.

You can fish in the fishing pond every 8 hours. The fishing pond is free & you can get items not available in the shops. That includes backgrounds!!

Welcome to our little corner of the internet. I was on Gaia Online back in the late 00s. I bet its really different now. We can earn feathers, the game's currency, by posting and playing some of the games. Hope you like it here

I don't have anything to add to the advice others have given. There's the forums where we can chat with each other - most posted messages will give you feathers, which is the site's free currency. There's a game room where you can play games and try to beat other's high scores, and get more feathers when submitting scores. Feathers can be used to buy items from the shop for your avatar, and for participating in events like the current gifting event. You can also buy a pet and items for the pets from the shop!
